Happy Birthday to the Best Boyfriend Ever!!

Today my boyfriend turns 25! Can you believe that? Actually he's slightly a little bit older but what does that matter any way!
It's hard to believe that I have known him for 18 years! I have to say he definitely gets better with age, when I first met him (he must have been about 7 years old, given the age he is now and the fact that I've known him for so long) he was so cute with his jet black hair and almost shylike personality (I know, you're saying John Shy? but it's true!). He cornered me at the front of a Tower Records store and hit me with a few lines, and we have been best buds ever since! He amazed me with his musical knowlege, name a song, lyric or group name and he could tell you pretty much everything about it and still today anyone who knows him well, knows that he LOVES music, all kinds. He has an entire hard drive dedicated to music and if there's something you want or have been looking for I guarantee he's either got it or can find it for you.
Something else he Loves, or I should say has grown to love is running, every day rain, snow or even in 100 degree weather you will find him running, not just a couple of miles but on average 4 to 5 miles a day. Of course his super long legs probably help in his efforts. He has been truly dedicated to getting his time down and mileage up.
After so many years he is still my best friend, there's not anything that we do together that I can say has been boring or a waste of time. It's always an adventure, trying to find the humorous side of things even when they're tough is something he's so good at! We love being together and doing things with our families and friends. I can't believe that we have been dating for about 18 years now. We always have fun when we're together, it's like a first date all over again! He's also very romantic and makes an effort to hug and kiss me often, he even sends me special gifts periodically to let me know he cares. I am so lucky to have such a devoted and handsome boyfriend!
Happy Birthday John! I Love you!
John's Birthday Day!
His brother Scott and his girlfriend came to visit. We have a tradition in our family that the birthday person gets to decide on where they want to have dinner. John (who usually had great taste in food) decided to eat at a buffet of all places, at the Eldorado! It turned out to be not so bad, but since we have switched to a predominately vegan with some fish (Pescetarian diet, there really is a name for every diet out there) it was pretty difficult to find items that we could actually eat. John was sung happy birthday to from the servers. (I love to embarras him, it's sooo much fun!)
He recieved so many birthday wishes from friends and family.
It was so nice for everyone to show him how much they cared! He's quite a popular guy! :) but how could you not love him!
Hope you had a great birthday babe! Love you!

Thanks hon. I know it was a kindof an unorthodox day, but I had a great time. I love you. You make every day seem like my birthday.
Did you know that John was the first person we met in the S. Meadows ward? We were trying to figure out the ward, time, etc. John was in the hall outside of the Bishop's office and was so friendly. He introduced us to the Dahl's, the Bishop, Bro. Turner, and probably a few others. I remember that he would tell us their names with what calling they had, including yours. Then he said, I'm just John and I'm not important (referring to his calling). I just want to say that I beg to differ! John is an awesome guy and was very important to us, as well as your whole family.
We love you!
