Jaidyn will be turning 8 in a few weeks! We decided it was a great time to get some family pictures and some of just her since this will be another milestone for her. Although I am excited for her to be baptized, I am so sad that our little girl is growing up soooo FAST! Where does the time go? So today we had a photo session with Eden Thome, she's an awesome photographer here in Reno, we had such a fun time with her and I am so anxious to see the rest of the photos. John beginning to work on building the garage wall. Yeah! The wall framing is up! So Wednesday is the day! When we started this project John and I made a deal that we would go ahead and rent a storage unit for the extra stuff in the garage, just until the room was built. We rented the unit and they gave us 2 months free, so we had a total of 3 months and just like always we procrastinated to the point that now we're down to the wire with just 4 more days left. Sure, we could rent another month, but that wasn't the deal we made in the beginning so we've been working like crazy! We spent last night putting up cabinets and finishing all the electrical wiring as well as sheetrock. My mom and dad came to help us, thanks mom and dad! They have a lot of experience with remodeling and so we really needed their help. Now today it's more electrical recessed lighting, countertops and the beginnings of tile flooring. Jaidyn was in a talent show tonight. She did so great! Afterwards we took a little bit of time and went on a mommy and daddy, Jaidyn date! She loves those. We let her pick where she wanted to eat for dinner and she picked Jazmine, a sushi place, that's our girl! Jaidyn you Rock!!

We're not a big TV watching family but when we do turn on the TV it always seems like there is so much garbage on TV anymore. We have had cable for over 7 years now and we are seriously considering canceling it for a lot reasons, mainly because we can never seem to find good wholesome shows to watch, that was until we found Hulu. We have an Xbox (thanks Uncle Scott!) and we have been enjoying Netflix instant movies on it for a few months now. Hulu does basically the same thing but it's all TV shows, made for TV movies and a few special TV programs. We thought we would give it a try for a few weeks and we're loving watching old movies of Flipper, The Adam's Family, Battlestar Galactica, and they have newer TV shows as well like Parks and Rec (a new fav) and a lot more.
