You turned 2 today! Some things about you: You love doing sommersaults, it doesn't matter where you are sometimes you just get the urge to do a sommersault, whether its on a soft or hard surface it just doesn't matter. You love anything girly, but still can't stand to have anythin g in your hair. You have about 5 babies and you play with them all, you love to feed them and change their diapers. Your a little toughy and can hold your own when it comes to your brother trying to push you around you have learned how to fight back and usually win. Today was dad's birthday! He has been wanting to go camping/fishing for months now, so to celebrate his birthday we packed up the kiddos, did a little research on the best places to fish and started on our 2 hour trek to Antelope Lake. We arrived at about 6 p.m. set up camp, built a campfire and enjoyed the stars. I felt like such a lame-o, because in all the caos of getting 4 kids ready, packing myself and my hubby, and getting the car ready, I forgot dad's birthday presents! UGH! The night was filled with darkness, bright twinkling stars and large rocks that I was continually trying to work my way around. At the start of the night it was rather warm in the 70's but as the night went on it became very cold and after asking John a few times if he was cold and him responding as no, I decided to make my way over to the very large sleeping bag that all 3 kids were sleeping in, it was nice and cozy. You turned 3 today! We can't believe how fast you are growing up! You love to play (pick on) your sister Luhani, although she's getting much bigger too and is able to fight back now, so it's getting a little harder. Your favorite characters are Elmo, Spongebob and Spiderman and whenever you get frustrated or don't like what someone's doing to you, you hold out your hand and make a "schoo" sound pretending that you're throwing your spiderman web. It's so funny! You love being a big boy and wearing your big boy underwear instead of diapers and I have to say that you were very easy to potty train and caught on really fast! You love it when Dad's home, dad's your buddy and you love to roughhouse with him and try to do whatever he does. Luis turned 3 today! He woke up this morning bright eye'd and the first things out of his mouth was "mom, Happy Cake?" We have been telling him for a week now that his birthday was coming up and he was going to get happy birthday cake just like Nan (Jaidyn) did. So now he calls all birthday cake "happy Cake" of course. I assured him that he would get some Happy Cake today and I reminded him that he's now 3 years old today. Luis said "yeah, Oni's two". What a smart little guy, she's not actually two yet, that one's next week but he amazes me with his little memory! 8 years ago today John and I recieved the greatest gift we could ever imagine! Our beautiful daughter, Jaidyn Michelle. Happy Birthday JBird! There's so much to say about you Jaidyn, You are so talented in so many different thing. You have an amazing voice that is so angelic and beautiful when you sing. You definitely have a gift for entertaining and being on stage, you have amazed us with how much you have accomplished so far and how you are so brave and never get nervous when you are performing, but get so excited to be able to be on stage and see so many people. Your amaze us with your memory as well, you are such a fast learner and have no problem memorizing things that you have just learned and then reciting them back with no mistakes. You are so fun to be around with your crazy Jaidyness and your creativity there's never a dull moment when you're around.
