A little bit of partyin shood do the chrick

For the past week all we've been hearing about from Jaidyn is that "on Thursday we're having a surprise party!" We weren't really sure what she had planned but she had Grandma and Grandpa roped into helping her with all the preparations. A few days before she filled the dining room with all manner of decorations, including this sign
"a little bit of partying should do the trick"
I think Jaidyn was born a party girl, in Kindergarten she decided that she was going to have a party and invite all of her friends. She made invitations and although she was too little to remember our address, she did remember to put our home phone number. The day before the party I received 3 phone calls from the parents of the friends she invited asking for our address, if I needed any help etc..I was taken back a little as I had no idea that we were having a party, and then when I confronted Jaidyn about it, she said real matter of fact like "yeah, I decided to have a party so I invited all of my friends" We had a very long talk about how you can't just have a party without telling mom first. So this time she ran it by Grandma and planned this entire party herself.
She woke up this morning in such a good mood, she walked past me in the kitchen and said "well today's the party!" and then continued to bug me all day long to take her to the store. We were finally able to make it to Target and Whole Foods (the two stores she wanted to go to) and she picked up the supplies that she needed for her little party she was giving.

When we got home grandma and grandpa came over and the party began! She had made all of us crowns adorned with her own little sayings and we all lined up and she took our order for dinner. She had set the table with red cups, plates and napkins and then served us what we had ordered.
After dinner she had a craft table set up and this is what we created. (you can click on the photo to see our creations up closer)
Jaidyn is such a creative little girl, we had a lot of fun at her party! Thanks so much for all you planned and for a fun family get together that we will always remember.
