Acupuncture and me

About a year ago I was diagnosed with Hoshimoto's, which basically means hypothyroid. I have had a hard time getting this under control and to where I feel better. I've gone to a muriad of doctors and been on a few different kinds of medications. I've decided that THIS is the year. I'm way too young to be so tired and feeling the way that I do. I found a specialist near San Francisco California that I'm going to see in February but until then I've decided to try Chinese medicine and acupuncture. I had my first appointment yesterday. I felt so good after even my 1st visit. I returned again this morning and once again, I feel much better! Tomorrow I'll return again and then we'll see where it goes from here. I figure at this point I can't go wrong, I'm my own guinea pig right now, trying out different things to see what will work best for me. I'm hoping I'm on the right track. The doctor has also given me some chinese herbs to take breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't say that it's helping my thyroid yet, but I do know that I feel so much better and I'm looking forward to seeing the specialist next month for a more thorough exam and possibly getting back to a new me very soon.

Chinese medicine is awesome...the chinese pay the doctors until they get sick...the western world has changed that thought.
Good luck!
