Tap dancing makes you happy!!!

Our Suburban is equipped with Sirius Radio. Usually we drive around town with the Disney station for the kids or my personal favorite Coffeehouse. But for the past week we have had it set at channel 4 which is the 1940's station. The kids have really enjoyed this. Especially Jaidyn. Every morning on the way to school you may pass us while we're blasting the old Big band music and rocking out to it! This evening we were coming home from Grandma's and Grandpa's and Jaidyn said "mom can you turn on that 1800's music again". I said "do you mean the 40's station?" "yes". So with "fever" playing in the background Jaidyn said "mom, I would have loved to have lived back then. It would have been so fun" I said " and why would you say that?" She said "because everyone was so happy and fun!" I said "well how do you know that?" "Because I can tell from the songs and the thing they sang about, well and they did a lot of tap dancing. "

I swear she was born in the wrong decade! I love my little old fashion 1940's Audrey Hepburn loving Girl!!
