Christmas Day!

Santa Came! We all woke up bright and early, Jaidyn couldn't wait to make it into the Family Room to see if Santa made it. The night before she left a plate of cookies and some milk for his long trip ahead and then made her way to bed by 7:30 (I think this might be a record) She did however wake up a few times before finally falling asleep for the night. I was under strict orders to call grandma and grandpa when the kids woke up, they didn't want to miss out on any of the excited as they opened presents. So shortly after making our way into the Family this is what Jaidyn found nicely wrapped and stacked on our sofa.

Santa brought many gifts as you can see, but the one's that Jaidyn loved best were the MY TWINN doll, Lucky the Dog and Horton Hears a Who (movie). She got a lot of pet shops also, which she loves!

From there we went to the Christmas tree in the Living Room and each of us took turns opening presents from family and friends.

Jaidyn got a set of scriptures with a personalized tote from mom and dad, she was so excited, her own personal scriptures!

Luis got lots of trucks, cars and boy stuff, he had so much that he couldn't choose what he liked best.

and Luhani got baby dolls and more baby dolls, I think everyone knows that she loves babies, and so that's what she got, she now has over 7 baby dolls to add to her collection! But she couldn't be happier.

Dad got lots of nice church and work shirts along with a sirius plug and play for his car.

and I got lots of nice jewelry (some of the perks of your mom working at the Macy's jewelry dept.) and a Pressure Canner (yeah! now I can do some real canning for food storage!). But the most special present of all was this beautiful apron, that Jaidyn made especially for me, she picked out the fabric and sewed it all by herself and a little help from Grandma. She's such a perfectionist, the seams were all as straight as can be, it totally looked like something I could buy at a store! Thanks Jaidyn, I love my Apron!

We didn't have any Christmas Socks this year, well I should say we had Christmas stockings but no where to hang them without the dogs or the kids completely pulling them down. So Jaidyn came up with these boxes for Santa to leave the Stocking gifts in. She even went as far as decorating her box with pretty ribbon and markers.

After all the excitement, mom and dad were pretty pooped, so we rested while the kids played with their new toys. Later we watched our favorite "the Christmas Story" and played our new board games. I had planned on having a really nice Christmas dinner but we opted for cooking a ham and having ham and cheese sandwiches instead. It was a very fun and relaxing day, spent with our family!
