Autumn Fun at Bishops Farm!

What a Crazy week it's been!
It started off with Social Services calling and telling us that the kid's mom and dad were relinquishing their rights on Thursday, but only on the 2 older ones and not on Lana.
Then that afternoon John came home to tell me that he had been cut back (this would be the 2nd time). We have made the first cut back work, I'm not quite sure how we're going to make the 2nd cut back work as we are now officially 60% less then we were originally making.
5 days later the Bishop came to our home and released me from my RS Prez calling, 4 days later John was released from 1st Counselor in Elder's Quorum.
So after many days of thinking, "what does this all mean?" we have come to the conclusion that we are in need of a much needed mini vacation.
Jaidyn has been watching the old Mary Kate and Ashley Movies and has recently taken up a huge liking to mysteries, more specifically mystery solving. So this was her mystery solving/investigator outfit.
We arranged for the kids to go into respite and John, Jaidyn and I headed for California, with an unknown destination for camping. After driving for about 2.5 hours we ended up at this absolutely beautiful campground called Sly Park in Pollock Pines, California. We camped in the trees, it was so perfect, the sky was lit with so many stars. After roasting some marshmellows at the campfire, we pulled out a few card games and played until we decided to go to bed. We woke up at about 8 and loaded up our camping supplies and started our drive towards Wheatland, CA to go to the opening day at Bishop's Farm.
We arrived there at about 10 a.m., Mom, dad, Kaelin and Trent met us there and the kids had so much fun running around. I LOVE Bishop's Farm, it reminds me so much of going to Grandma and Grandpa's house, running around the entire day until you can't stand no more and you completely drop from being so worn out. There was a rather large lemon tree on the property that had a spigot nearby. I told Jaidyn that if she went and turned on the spigot that it would spray out pure lemonade, straight from the lemon tree. She pulled the nozzle, leaned over hesitant but very curious, took a big sip and then spit it out saying that it tasted like dirt water. But the funny thing was, we really got Grandma. We told her the same thing and she was convinced that it had to be true, until she too took a drink and realized that it was just water. Then Grandpa Louie had to ruin it all and tell us that it actually wasn't a lemon tree at all, but a walnut tree. Is there such thing as walnutade?
We had so much fun and ended the day with a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.
We had planned on camping another night, but then we decided to head back home in order to make it to church on Sunday since I would be getting released, and the Bishop was wanting me to share my testimony. It was the perfect little vacation, we had a great time and enjoyed our much needed vacation.
